This time I want to show a little of what I've learned through the bible in the Chrurch of God World Mission Society. One study that moved me a lot was the "Hidden Manna and New Name" So I decided to explain a little about this amazing prophecy fulfilled by our Heavenly Father Christ Ahn Sahng Hong. Only after understanding the first coming Christ we can understand the Second.
Then how was Jesus recognized as Christ by the disciples 2000 years ago?
There's one verse in the bible where He's asked by the jews this question:
John 6:30-31 So they asked him, "What miraculous sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do? Our forefathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written: 'He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
Jesus was asked by the people "
What miraculous sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do?"
They wanted to know for sure whether He was true Christ or not. So they said to Him "our forefathers ate manna in desert; as it is written HE GAVE THEM BREAD FROM HEAVEN TO EAT.
Now "manna" is the bread that came down from heaven which Moses had given their forefathers in the old testament times. That's why they said they could believe Moses as a true prophet of God. So they asked Jesus "What would You do?"
Then let's see what was Jesus answer to them. That's the same question that many people have today. How can we recognize the true Christ?
MANNA IS THE BREAD THAT COMES DOWN FROM HEAVENWe have to know what was Jesus answer 2000 years ago. That answer is the key to see who is true and who is false. This was Jesus answer:
John 6:49-50 Your forefathers ate the manna in the desert, yet they died. But here is the bread that comes down from heaven
(MANNA), which a man may eat and not die.Jesus didn't say that we wouldn't give then manna instead He said "here is the bread that comes down from heaven", manna but, this manna a man may eat and live forever. He said Your forefathers ate the manna, yet they died but the manna He gives you can eat and NOT die.
This is a greater manna, because it gives eternal life. Then this was his answer 2000 years ago. They asked "What will you do?" He answered I'll give you manna. Then what is this manna thru which we can recognize him, manna which we may eat and have eternal life.
John 6:51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world."
He said He is the bread that came down from heaven then He is the manna. Jesus said "this bread is my flesh" So we need to eat his flesh but how?
John 6:53-55 Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.
I see that not only his flesh but also his blood but still how?
Matthew 26:17-19, 26-28 On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Where do you want us to make preparations for you to e
at the
Passover?" He replied, "Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, 'The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the
Passover with my disciples at your house.' " So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the
Passover. .......While
they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "
Take and eat; this is my body." Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "
Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
Jesus showed that Passover is the way to eat the manna, his flesh and blood, which He gave as a sign to recognize Him as Christ.
This was the sign to recognize Him as the true Christ 2000 years ago. But how did the people react after hearing his words? Let's see.
John 6:41 At this the Jews began to grumble about him because he said, "I am the bread that came down from heaven."
And what else they said?
John 6:60 On hearing it, many of his disciples said, "This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?"
Ending up in what action?
John 6:66From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.
But what about the twelve disciples who always followed Him?
John 6:67"You do not want to leave too, do you?" Jesus asked the Twelve.
Jesus said this to them but, DID THEY LEAVE?
John 6:68 Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.
Now we know that the sign to recognize the first coming Christ Jesus. That sign was the manna that gives eternal life which is the feast of the Passover.
Thru this the disciples were able to believe Jesus and accepted Him 2000 years ago. But what about now in 2008.
How are we to recognize the Second-Coming-Christ?
Thru the same exact sign MANNA. Let's see?
Revelation 2:17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the HIDDEN MANNA. I will also give him a WHITE STONE WITH A NEW NAME WRITTEN ON IT, known only to him who receives it.
I know it says Hidden manna but you might be thinking "what about the WHITE STONE?"
White everybody knows represents pure or clean without anything dirty. But what about stone? What kind of pure or clean STONE is the bible talking about? Let's see through the bible.
1 Peter 2:4 As you come to him, the
living Stone—rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him.
This Living Stone is none other than Jesus Christ. Then Christ is the Stone mentioned in Revelation but, the verse said "WHITE STONE WITH A NEW NAME"
Then Second-Coming-Christ will come with a new name (other than Jesus). But what will be the sign to recognize Him by? The HIDDEN MANNA.

The Second-Coming- Christ will also be recognize by the manna, which is the Passover of the New covenant.
Then who has done this carried it through?
